At Hand Productions now has internships available for your students. Students will learn the ins and outs of business administration. They will learn real life business techniques such as negotiation, market strategy, presentation, publicity, database entry, booking keeping, and contractual law, which are necessary aspects to any business. Also, interns will learn about industry specific aspects such as tour planning, artist management, radio promotion, televised broadcasting, radio broadcasting, CD/DVD distribution, and more. COMPANY BACKGROUND At Hand Productions is a multimedia production company that was once a dream, but now is a reality. Founded by Andrew Hanna, it was a company that he envisioned when he was a college student and the productions that AHP creates and presents deal with social and political issues that many entertainment companies don't address. At Hand Productions' Prophecies of War has been gaining increasing recognition throughout America, Canada, Germany, The Netherlands, The United Kingdom, and other countries. And starting in fall 2008, Prophecies of War will begin entering Australian markets. In addition to this, PoW will be nationally televised in America in July 2008. Interns will learn how AHP made it to this level of success. TIME COMMITMENT At Hand Productions internships last for a semester or quarter and are 35 hours a week. During the summer, one will need to commit to 35 hours a week for a minimum of ten (10) weeks. STIPEND This is an UNPAID internship, but AHP will cover any travel expenses to other locations if sent on assignment. ELIGIBILTY Interns should be either undergraduate or graduate students who have degrees in business administration, marketing, performing arts, arts administration, or any other similar degree in arts or business. If you are unsure as to whether your degree qualifies, please contact At Hand Productions and we will help you. CONTACT INFORMATION At Hand Productions |
