When Video and Sound Unite

It has been a long time interest of mine to combine music and video into a live experience. But many concerts that I have witnessed, the video is just there as an object that doesn't serve any purpose other than being there. I have strived to bring more meaning when using video in concert with music. It is the intent to tell a story both through video, music, and with any other medium used.

Sound and light share many similar aspects. Both of which are based on the sine wave. If one were to take a sound wave and increase the speed of it, eventually one will not hear sound anymore and will see light. The first introductions to multimedia was when I was in middle school. We use to have these large screens with many speakers placed throughout the auditorium. And the events used video and music from many of the leading entertainers of the 80s and 90s. Additionally, the themes were based on topics that teachers wanted us to learn about, but didn't want to address in their classrooms. Eventually these events latter had an influence on the productions that I would go on to create.

In the end, I started formulating different ideas on the arts and how they can interact with each other. As time goes on, I will share more information about my ideas. Until then, take care.

Musicians: You think you got what it takes to play in a touring, nationally televised, multimedia production? Then send me your demos and get in contact. I am looking for drums and keys.

College Students: I hear you need an internship in order to graduate. Click HERE to learn more about AHP's internships.
